Engine Carbon Clear brings together experts from engineering, biomedical science, environmental research, finance and lobbying. Our mission is to help reduce climate change in the world, working with local populations to deliver results on the ground.

Governmental clients

Trusted at the table with governments

Much of our work happens in rooms with ministries, consulates and development agencies. We have negotiated MPA deployments with three countries, secured licences in Central America and are finalising the jurisdiction for our first eco-smart city.

Dr. Benjamin Wang, PhD

President

Dr. Wang earned his PhD in Medical Science from McGill University in Montreal, after completing his Bachelor's and Master's degrees in chemical engineering at Nanjing University in China.

Before joining Engine Carbon Clear he was Chief Operating Officer of BIP Ltd., then the largest management company of industrial parks in the world, covering industries representing more than $400 billion in GDP. Earlier he was Chief Executive Officer of Chemcloud Inc., which maintained the largest substance database of its time and developed advanced anti-smuggling technologies for customs authorities and governments.

David Byers

Engineering & Management

Mr. Byers studied engineering at Tuskegee University. He brings deep experience engineering petroleum wells, expertise he is now applying to green geothermal energy production, where the same drilling and reservoir know-how unlocks supercritical heat instead of hydrocarbons.

From a Montreal boutique to a global practice

2018 · Founded

Engine Carbon Clear opens in Montreal with the goal of becoming the preeminent environmental project consultant and consultancy boutique.

2022 · Go Green Capital

A signed contract with Go Green Capital is announced, covered by Digital Journal, Boston Herald, Benzinga and others.

2022–2023 · Licences secured

Green hydrogen and macro-algae biofuel licences arranged in Central America; MPA agreements negotiated with three countries.

2024 · Seneca app

Launch of our AI-powered app to track environmental footprints in real time, featured in The Globe and Mail and Benzinga.

Today · Eco-City

Final stages of choosing the jurisdiction for a renewable-powered eco-smart city of 100,000 people.
